| 英文描述 | Equine thiamine deficiency is often due to prolonged ingestion of bracken fern (PTERIDIUM AQUILINIUM) or horsetail (EQUISETUM RAMOSISSIMUM). Can also be induced with amprolium. Dx by history and clinical signs. This syndrome is due to thiaminase in these plants (Mayer). |
